Welcome to Popcorn Style! These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Popcorn Style application and any related services provided by Jamie Kosoy (“I”, “me”, or “my”). Description of Service
Popcorn Style is a meeting timer application that allows users to manage meeting participants with a randomized timer. To use the Application, users must create an account and subscribe to the service. The subscription fee is $3 per month, and the pricing is listed on the home page of the Application.
Subscription and Payment
Popcorn Style is a subscription-based service. By subscribing, you agree to pay the monthly fee listed on our homepage, https://popcorn.style. Payments are processed through the billing system available at https://popcorn.style/billing. You may cancel your subscription at any time by visiting this link.
Account Registration and Use
To access the Application, you must create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account information, including your password, and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to provide accurate and complete information when creating your account.
User Conduction
You agree to use the Application only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You are prohibited from reverse engineering, decompiling, or disassembling the Application. Any unauthorized use of the Application may result in termination of your account.
Intellectual Property
All content, features, and functionality of the Application, including but not limited to the Popcorn Style name, logo, and design, are the exclusive property of Jamie Kosoy and are protected by copyright laws. Upon subscribing you are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Application for personal, non-commercial purposes.
Disclaimers
The Application is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. I do not guarantee that the Application will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components. I make no warranties, express or implied, regarding the performance or availability of the Application.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, I shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, use, or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of the Application. My total liability to you for any claim arising from or related to these Terms shall not exceed the amount you have paid to use the Application.
Termination
You may cancel your subscription at any time by visiting https://popcorn.style/billing. Upon cancellation, your account data (e.g., email address) will be retained in my systems unless you request its deletion by contacting me at contact@popcorn.style. I reserve the right to terminate or suspend your account immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including but not limited to a breach of these Terms.
Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any legal action or proceeding arising under these Terms will be brought exclusively in the federal or state courts located in California, and you hereby consent to the jurisdiction of such courts.
Changes to Terms
I reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting on the Application. I will notify you of any changes by email. Your continued use of the Application after any such modifications constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
